About Us — HellyCreates
About Us

A small studio, built around one idea: marketing that has to earn its place.

HellyCreates started as one person's frustration with how digital marketing usually gets sold — big promises, vague reporting, and a page or ad account left running on autopilot once the contract's signed. This page is the longer version of who we are and why we work the way we do.

Nothing here is written to sound impressive — it's written so that if you decide to work with us, none of it comes as a surprise later. If you'd rather skip straight to a conversation, the contact page is one click away; this page is here for whenever you want the fuller picture.

Helly, founder of HellyCreates
Our story

Hi, I'm Helly — the person behind the name.

I started HellyCreates because I kept running into the same pattern: good businesses, real products, owners working hard — and a digital presence that didn't reflect any of that effort. A social page posting without a plan, ad spend going out with nobody checking if it was actually profitable, a website built once at launch and never looked at again.

I wanted to build the kind of partner I'd want if I were running that business myself — someone who explains what's actually happening with your marketing in plain language instead of jargon, who treats your budget like it's their own, and who's honest when something isn't working instead of dressing up the numbers to look better than they are.

That's the standard every project here is still held to, whether it's a single service or all four working together for one client.

— Helly, Founder

How it actually started

1

The frustration

Watching good businesses get let down by inconsistent posting, untracked ad spend, and neglected websites — often not from a lack of effort, just a lack of proper attention.

2

The first clients

Early projects were built one honest conversation at a time — understanding a real problem before proposing anything, rather than starting from a fixed package.

3

The standard that stuck

Plain-language reporting and month-to-month trust worked so well for those first clients that it became the standard for every project since.

What we actually believe

The four things every project here gets measured against.

Results over activity

A busy-looking report isn't the same as a business actually growing. We'd rather do less and show a real number moving than fill a report with metrics that don't matter, even if that makes the report itself look shorter.

Plain language, always

If a report needs a glossary to understand, it's failed at its actual job. Every update is written so you could explain it to someone else — a partner, an investor, a colleague — in one sentence.

Your budget, treated like ours

We'd rather recommend spending less on something that isn't working than keep it running to protect a bigger invoice. Trust built over months is worth more than one extra invoice line today.

Consistency beats bursts

A steady, sustainable pace of work beats a dramatic push followed by silence. Almost everything in marketing that actually works is built slowly, on purpose, and kept up long after the initial excitement fades.

Why businesses choose to work with us

Not the biggest agency in the room — the one that actually shows its work.

Most agencies sell packages before they understand your business — a fixed number of posts, a fixed ad budget, the same proposal sent to every client that walks through the door. We start the other way around: with a real conversation about what you're actually trying to achieve, and build the scope around that answer instead of a template.

Reporting is the other place trust tends to break down, usually by burying a client in metrics that sound impressive but don't answer the one question that matters: did this make or save you money? Every report we send answers that question first, before it gets into the detail underneath.

We're also comfortable saying "we don't know yet" in the first month or two of a new channel, rather than manufacturing false confidence in numbers that genuinely need more time to settle. That honesty tends to build more trust over a year than a confident guess ever does.

We don't lock clients into long contracts to keep the relationship going — the work is expected to earn its renewal every month, not the paperwork. If a channel isn't working, we'll say so and suggest what to try instead, even if that means recommending less spend rather than more.

And because the four services under this roof are built to work together, you're not stitching together a freelancer for social, a separate manager for ads, and a developer who's never spoken to either of them — one team sees the whole picture and keeps every piece pointed at the same goal.

How we actually work

01

Listen first

Every project starts with understanding your business before recommending anything.

02

Plan honestly

A scope built around your actual goal, not the biggest package we could sell.

03

Execute carefully

Content, campaigns, or your site are built, reviewed with you, and shipped properly.

04

Report plainly

Monthly updates in language anyone could understand, with real numbers behind them.

Who we usually work with

Most clients come to us in one of two situations. Either they're a growing business — a local brand, a D2C label, a service provider — that's outgrown doing marketing themselves in spare time and needs it run properly, or they're an established business whose current marketing has gone stale: a page that hasn't grown in months, ads that used to work but don't anymore, or a website that hasn't been touched since it launched.

In both cases, the starting point is the same: an honest look at what's actually happening right now, before we suggest anything. If your business isn't ready for paid ads yet because the website can't convert the traffic, we'll say that rather than running the ads anyway. The goal is always the next right step for where you actually are, not the most billable one for us.

We also tend to work best with business owners who want to understand what's happening with their marketing, not just receive it as a black box. If you'd rather stay hands-off entirely and never look at a report, that's fine too — but the relationship works best when there's at least some curiosity on your side about why something is or isn't working.

Questions people ask about us

Is HellyCreates a big agency or a small team?

We're intentionally small — every client's work goes through people who actually understand the account, rather than being handed off between departments. That's a trade-off, not a limitation: it means slower growth for us, but more attention for you.

What industries do you usually work with?

Mostly D2C brands, local businesses, and service providers, though the core approach — honest scoping, plain reporting, month-to-month trust — applies regardless of industry. If you're unsure whether your business is a fit, just ask.

Do you only work with businesses in India?

No — most of what we do is location-independent, and we've worked with clients across different countries. What matters more than geography is clear communication and a workable time overlap for calls.

How is HellyCreates actually different from other agencies?

Mostly in what we say no to — we won't sell a bigger package than you need, won't hide behind vanity metrics, and won't keep a channel running once it's clearly not working just to protect an invoice. It's a simpler standard than it sounds, and surprisingly rare in practice.

Will I always work directly with Helly, or with a wider team?

The first conversation usually goes through me directly, so I understand the business myself before deciding who's the right fit for the work. From there, depending on scope, you may work with specialists on the team for specific services, always with visibility into the whole picture.

Let's see if we're the right fit for your brand.
